Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro are officially reuniting for Meet the Parents , but the biggest surprise is the franchise’s newest addition: pop superstar and Oscar nominee Ariana Grande. Universal Pictures has confirmed the comedy sequel will hit theaters on November 25, 2026, marking the first new installment in the series since 2010’s Little Fockers.
Plot details are mostly under wraps, but insiders reveal that Grande will play the “strong-willed” fiancée of Greg and Pam Focker’s now-adult son. The film will focus on the chaos that erupts when the Fockers’ son brings home his unconventional bride-to-be to meet the family, reigniting the generational clash that made the original films box office hits.
Stiller and De Niro return as Greg Focker and Jack Byrnes, with Teri Polo and Blythe Danner expected to reprise their roles, though final contracts are still being negotiated. John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three previous films, is both writing and directing this installment. Jay Roach, who directed the original trilogy, joins as a producer.
