RB Leipzig vs Bayern: Last-Minute Drama Leaves Title Race Hanging

Bayern Munich were on the verge of sealing the Bundesliga title in Leipzig, but a dramatic stoppage-time goal from Yussuf Poulsen forced a 3-3 draw and delayed the Bavarians’ celebrations

RB Leipzig took early control, with Benjamin Šeško opening the scoring in the 11th minute and Lukas Klostermann doubling the lead before halftime. Bayern, missing suspended top scorer Harry Kane, looked out of sorts in the first half but mounted a fierce comeback after the break. Eric Dier and Michael Olise struck in quick succession to level the score, and Leroy Sané appeared to have completed the turnaround with a late goal in the 84th minute

But Leipzig refused to quit. In the dying seconds, Xavi Simons set up Poulsen, who chipped the ball past Bayern’s Jonas Urbig, sending the home crowd into celebration and denying Bayern the chance to clinch the title on the day

Bayern remain top of the table with 76 points from 32 matches, holding a commanding lead over Bayer Leverkusen. With just two games left, the title is still within reach, but the champagne will have to stay on ice until at least next week, when Bayern host Borussia Mönchengladbach in Munich
