Wawa fans woke up to a caffeinated treat this Wednesday as the beloved convenience chain marked its 61st anniversary with a major giveaway: free hot coffee of any size at all Wawa locations, all day long. No app, purchase, or loyalty sign-up required—just walk in and pour yourself a cup at the self-serve bar, while supplies last. The company expects to serve nearly.5 million free coffees across its more than,10 stores, from Pennsylvania to its newest market in Ohio, where customers lined up before sunrise to join the celebration.
Wawa Day isn’t just about free coffee. It commemorates the opening of the first Wawa store in Folsom, Pennsylvania, back in. Each year, the company uses this day to thank customers, associates, and community partners.
