Andor Season 2 Release Date Revealed—But There’s a Twist Fans Didn’t Expect

Star Wars fans eager for Cassian Andor’s return won’t have to wait much longer—Andor season is officially set to premiere on Disney+ on April, 202. But there’s a major shake-up in how the final season will unfold: all episodes will be released in just four weeks, with three-episode drops every Tuesday night at p.m. ET through May.

This rapid-fire release schedule is a departure from the traditional weekly format used by most Star Wars series. Each three-episode arc will cover a year in Cassian’s journey, spanning the four years leading directly into the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Showrunner Tony Gilroy confirmed that this structure is designed to efficiently bring the story full circle, with the finale expected to connect seamlessly to Rogue One’s opening moments.

Season will also mark the end of Andor, concluding the critically acclaimed prequel’s exploration of rebellion, sacrifice, and the making of a hero. Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor, joined by much of the original cast, as the stakes rise and the Rebellion’s fight against the Empire intensifies.

With its unconventional release plan and high narrative stakes, Andor’s final season promises a binge-worthy, action-packed sendoff that Star Wars fans won’t want to miss.
