San Diego FC extended their impressive home unbeaten run with a convincing 2-0 victory over Austin FC at Snapdragon Stadium on June, 2025. The win marks SDFC’s fifth consecutive home triumph and closes out an undefeated month of May in front of their fans.
After a tense, scoreless first half, San Diego native Luca de la Torre broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, finishing a well-worked move set up by Hirving “Chucky” Lozano and Paddy McNair. Substitute Milan Iloski sealed the result in stoppage time, capitalizing on a pass from Anders Dreyer for SDFC’s second goal.
This fixture was the second meeting between the clubs this season. Austin FC took the first matchup 2-1 back in March, but San Diego’s latest win cements their status near the top of the Western Conference standings.
