Texas started strong but struggled to maintain momentum. Despite a five-run third inning in Saturday’s matchup, the Longhorns ultimately fell 9-7 as UTSA rallied late, capitalizing on Texas errors and timely hitting. In Sunday’s elimination game, Texas was outhit and left runners stranded, unable to overcome UTSA’s pitching and clutch performances.
