A 19-year-old Serbian influencer, Tijana Radonjic, died in a parasailing accident last week in Budva, Montenegro, after detaching her harness and falling approximately 50 meters into the Adriatic Sea Radonjic had been approached by a local water sports agency to participate in a promotional activity, offering her a free parasailing ride in exchange for social media content.
Eyewitness footage and reports indicate that Radonjic, who had received a brief training session before the flight, appeared enthusiastic and waved to her cousin filming from the beach as she ascended. However, as the ride reached significant height, she suddenly removed her life vest and then unbuckled her safety harness, resulting in a fatal fall.
Authorities have opened an investigation to determine whether the incident was caused by a panic attack, a deliberate act, or an unconscious gesture. The tragedy has sent shockwaves through the local community and social media, where video of the incident has gone viral.
