The U.S. Women’s National Team delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Jamaica in St. Louis on June, 2025, but the night belonged to more than just the scorers. In front of a packed Energizer Park, the USWNT extended their undefeated streak against the Reggae Girlz and paid tribute to retiring legend Becky Sauerbrunn.

Ally Sentnor, recently crowned 2024 U.S. Young Player of the Year, opened the scoring in the 19th minute and doubled her tally just ten minutes later, notching her first-ever multi-goal game for the national team Sentnor’s sharp movement and finishing showcased why she’s quickly becoming the squad’s top scoring threat, now leading the team with four goals in 2025.
Lynn Biyendolo came off the bench in the second half and wasted no time, scoring in the 60th minute and again in the 88th, bringing her career total to 24 international goals The two forwards became the first USWNT players to record braces in a single match this year.

The match was also a celebration of Becky Sauerbrunn, the two-time World Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist, who was honored in her hometown after retiring from international play. Fans greeted her with a standing ovation and a special pregame ceremony.
Meanwhile, the USWNT fielded one of its youngest lineups in decades, with several new faces gaining valuable minutes. Kerry Abello made her senior team debut, and goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce recorded her third straight clean sheet as the team searches for a long-term successor to Alyssa Naeher.
