The finals featured fierce competition: Groce, the defending champion, led early but was overtaken in the second game as Zaheer and Raut traded leads. Zaheer impressed with a bold Daily Double and a correct response on “Bonfire of the Vanities,” while Raut’s own true Daily Double on “The ‘End’” category propelled him into first place before Final Jeopardy.
The decisive Final Jeopardy clue in the “Paintings” category asked about an artist who depicted Dr. Gachet with flowers used to treat heart disease. All three finalists responded correctly, but Raut’s calculated bet sealed the championship.
With this win, Yogesh Raut takes home the $500,000 grand prize, the Alex Trebek trophy, and the title of Jeopardy! Master for 2025. Juveria Zaheer earns $250,000 as runner-up, while Victoria Groce, aiming for a repeat, finishes third with $150,000.
