Lil Wayne’s long-awaited album, Tha Carter VI, officially released on June, 2025, marking the rapper’s return with his first solo project in five years. The 19-track album features an eclectic mix of collaborators, including Bono, MGK, Andrea Bocelli, Wyclef Jean, Kodak Black, and Wayne’s son Kameron Carter, highlighting a bold new direction for the iconic series.
The album arrives seven years after Tha Carter V and follows Wayne’s 2023 collaboration with Chainz. Fans are already buzzing about standout tracks like “The Days” featuring Bono, which debuted in a high-profile NBA Finals promo, and “Maria” with Andrea Bocelli and Wyclef Jean.
To celebrate the release, Lil Wayne announced a massive North American tour kicking off at Madison Square Garden, his first-ever headlining show at the venue. The tour will hit 34 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington on all dates and NoCap joining select shows.
