With the announcement of **Fallout Season 3**, fans are eager for any news about the upcoming release. This season promises a historic first for the franchise, venturing into the picturesque yet perilous landscapes of Colorado.

The **Fallout** TV series has captivated audiences with its post-apocalyptic narrative, and the reveal of Season 3's setting in Colorado has added a new layer of excitement.

Fallout Season 3 will head to a whole new location for the franchise, Colorado. Colorado hasn't been the location of a main game before. While the Fallout games have been set in multiple areas of the country, season 3 going to Colorado would technically be a major first for the franchise by heading to the region.

The mountain state was previously included in 2001's Fallout Tactics, appearing in the latter half of the role-playing spinoff.

However, **Fallout** Season 3's release date is still shrouded in mystery. Although no official date has been announced, educated guesses place its potential release window in late 2026 or early 2027.

The anticipation around the release date has been building since the announcement of Season 3 during Amazon's Upfront presentation in New York City on May 12, 2025.

One of the biggest questions on everyone's mind is whether the central characters, who remain in New Vegas, will join the Ghoul in this new setting. This twist adds complexity and intrigue to the storyline, as fans wonder how the characters will navigate the new terrain and challenges.

The filming for **Fallout Season 3** is expected to begin in May 2026, with Santa Clarita, California, serving as the primary location. Frederick E.O. Toye will continue his role as director and executive producer, ensuring continuity and quality for the series.

While the exact release date remains uncertain, the excitement for **Fallout Season 3** is palpable. The new setting in Colorado, combined with the intriguing plot developments, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans of the franchise. As we eagerly await more details, the anticipation for this new chapter in the **Fallout** series continues to grow, setting the stage for an epic journey through the rugged landscapes of Colorado.
