Club América dominates Mazatlán at Estadio Azteca

Club América delivered a commanding performance against Mazatlán FC at the Estadio Azteca on April, 202, leaving fans buzzing over a lopsided victory. The match, part of the Liga MX Clausura, saw América assert their dominance from the opening whistle, quickly building a lead that Mazatlán could never threaten.

Víctor Dávila set the tone early, scoring in the 4th minute with an assist from Javairô Dilrosun. Just nine minutes later, Álvaro Fidalgo doubled the advantage, capitalizing on a pass from Alejandro Zendejas. By halftime, América had already established a comfortable cushion, and the momentum never shifted.

The second half brought more of the same. Dávila netted his second goal with a penalty in the 51st minute, while Fidalgo matched the feat with his own brace, again assisted by Zendejas. By the 58th minute, América had surged to a 4-0 lead, effectively sealing the match.

Mazatlán struggled to mount any real threat, hampered by yellow cards and limited offensive opportunities. The final score reflected América’s superiority, as they continued their push for the top spots in the Liga MX standings.

With this emphatic win, Club América showcased their attacking prowess and sent a clear message to the rest of the league—at the Azteca, they remain a force to be reckoned with.
