Browns defeat Ravens 13-10 as rookie Denzel Boston shines

The Cleveland Browns secured a 13-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6 of the NFL season. The game took place in Cleveland, Ohio, where the Browns' offense managed to outscore the Ravens despite a limited passing performance.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson attempted to regain his home-field form against the Baltimore defense. While the passing game showed signs of struggle for some players, the team's success was highlighted by the emergence of rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston. Boston has become a focal point for the Browns' offense, with betting markets on Kalshis now leaning on him as the top candidate for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

Boston's performance has placed him ahead of veteran tight end Harold Fannin Jr. in terms of target volume. Fannin was limited to one reception for nine yards on three targets in the Week 6 matchup, marking a second consecutive disappointing outing. The tight end has been lapped by rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion for targets, leading analysts to describe him as a low-end TE2 in a passing offense that has been characterized as mediocrity.

Despite the hype surrounding his rookie status, Boston has stated that winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award is not among his top priorities. He has indicated that his sights remain locked on larger goals for the team. Additionally, Boston has discussed the personal significance of his equipment, noting that wearing gloves during games helps his mental health.

The Browns' win in Week 6 was part of a broader trend where the team has secured victories, as noted in report card grades for the game. While other NFL players like Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba lead the league in receiving yards, Boston's breakout season has made him a central figure in Cleveland's current narrative.
