Duke Cornerback Kimari Robinson Swats at Female Trainer During UNC Game, Draws Criticism

Duke defensive back Kimari Robinson was captured on video swiping away the arm of female athletic trainer Grace Dietrich as she moved to assist injured teammate DaShawn Stone during the Blue Devils' game against North Carolina.

The incident occurred on Oct. 17 at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham while Duke was trailing 24-20 in the loss to the Tar Heels.

Following the video’s circulation, fans called for Robinson’s suspension.

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III publicly criticized the action, writing on X, "As a man, this just can't happen. No excuses for it."
