Bucs defeat Panthers 43-13 in Week 7
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Carolina Panthers 43-13 on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.
The game was part of Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield started the game after missing three games.
Mayfield had been listed as questionable before the game after practicing in full.
The Buccaneers entered the contest with a 1-5 record.
The victory marked the team's first win after that start.
"I think it's a statement internally for us, not to anybody else, but for us," Mayfield said.
Tampa Bay dominated in offense, defense and special teams.
Prior to the win, the Buccaneers had played 12 straight games decided by one score, posting a 3-9 record in those contests.
Earlier in the season the team surrendered 10-point leads in the second half against Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
The offense is led by new coordinator Zac Robinson.
