West Virginia Mountaineers earned a 24-20 road victory over Texas Christian University Horned Frogs on Saturday at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas.

The win moved the Mountaineers to a 5-3 record on the season.

TCU quarterback Jaden Craig threw for 372 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing score, but his fumble on a sack with 34 seconds left ended a drive that had brought the Horned Frogs inside the red zone.

TCU outgained West Virginia 484 yards to 265, recorded 29 first downs to West Virginia’s 17, and lost the turnover battle 3‑1.

West Virginia’s defense secured a late red‑zone stop that preserved the lead.
