49ers Face Falcons With Injuries Limiting Roster, Coach Says May Fall Short of 48 Players

The San Francisco 49ers will travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Week 7 at Mercedes‑Benz Stadium.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said the 49ers may not be able to reach the maximum 48 players on the game‑day roster.

The team has ruled out receiver Mike Evans, who is dealing with a sore Achilles, and defensive end Nick Bosa, who has a calf injury.

Additional players listed as unavailable are receivers Ricky Pearsall, Deebo Samuel Sr., De’Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson, safety Marques Sigle, and linebackers Garret Wallow and Luke Gifford.

Falcons wide receiver Christian Kirk is set to return from injured reserve.

The 49ers enter the matchup undefeated.
