76ers Defeat Knicks 98-93 in NBA Cup at Xfinity Mobile Arena

The Philadelphia 76ers won 98-93 against the New York Knicks in an NBA Cup game at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Friday night.

Guard Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with 27 points, while LeBron James recorded 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, marking his first 20‑point game with Philadelphia.

Jalen Brunson scored 24 points and added six assists for the Knicks, but the team fell short after being outscored 53-44 in the first half.

Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse said James delivered "his best game for sure," and Maxey described him as a "calming presence" in late‑game situations.
