Hockey fans have a new reason to celebrate the Stanley Cup Playoffs—Chipotle’s popular “Wear Your Hockey Jersey” BOGO deal is back, but there’s a catch you need to know before heading out.
Starting April after p.m. local time, anyone who wears a hockey jersey to a participating Chipotle can score a buy-one-get-one free entrée. The deal is valid for dine-in only and is open to all fans, regardless of which team’s jersey you wear. Each customer in a jersey can claim up to five free menu items per transaction, but each free item requires the purchase of an entrée of equal or greater value. Kids’ meals are excluded from the promotion.
This annual event, now in its fifth year, is part of Chipotle’s ongoing partnership with the NHL and, for the first time, the NHL Players’ Association. The promotion aims to bring together hockey enthusiasts and food lovers for a unique playoff tradition.
If you’re planning to take advantage, remember: the offer is only available in person, after p.m., and only while supplies last. So grab your favorite hockey jersey and get ready for a double helping of burritos, bowls, or tacos—just don’t forget the jersey.
