Jaguars and Ravens Meet Thursday Night Football at M&T Bank Stadium
The Jacksonville Jaguars traveled to Baltimore to play the Ravens on Thursday night, opening NFL Week 9 at M&T Bank Stadium.
Jacksonville entered the game with a 5-2 record, three games ahead of the second‑place team in the AFC South, after a 42‑7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was described as playing as soundly as he ever has, aided by wide receiver Parker Washington and an efficient ground game, while the defense contributed to what the team called the most balanced roster in the league.
Baltimore came into the matchup at 4-4, having lost quarterback Lamar Jackson to a thumb injury in the previous week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, an injury expected to keep him out for the remainder of the season.
Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley also was placed on injured reserve with a turf toe injury, leaving third‑string rookie Joe Fagnano as the starter.
The Ravens added emergency quarterbacks Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis to the roster, with Reed signed to the 53‑man roster and listed as Fagnano’s backup.
The team also elevated outside linebacker Adisa Isaac and kicker Jake Moody from the practice squad for the game.
