DV Lottery 2026 Results: Are You One of the Lucky Winners? Here’s What You Need to Know

The wait is over for millions of hopefuls worldwide: the results for the 2026 Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery, also known as the Green Card Lottery, are available starting May 3, 202. Entrants can now check their status exclusively online at the official site, dvprogram.state.gov, using their confirmation number, last name, and year of birth. No emails or phone calls will be sent-beware of scams claiming otherwise

The DV Lottery is a unique U.S. government program granting up to 5,000 permanent resident visas each year to randomly selected individuals from countries with low immigration rates to the United States. Selection in the lottery does not guarantee a visa; it provides an opportunity to proceed with the next steps, including completing the DS-260 form, attending a consular interview, and meeting all eligibility requirements

Winners must act quickly. All applications and visa issuances must be completed by September 30, 202. If you’ve lost your confirmation number, the official website offers a recovery tool. Remember, the U.S. government never charges a fee to check your result or to enter the lottery

For those selected, this is just the beginning of the journey toward a U.S. Green Card. Check your status now and follow all official instructions to secure your chance at a new life in America
