Gears of War is making history this summer. For the first time ever, the iconic shooter will launch on PlayStation 5 with the arrival of Gears of War: Reloaded on August 2, 202. This remastered edition isn’t just a simple upgrade-it’s a full overhaul of the 2006 classic, rebuilt for modern hardware and featuring 4K resolution, 120 FPS multiplayer, and cross-play across all platforms
Developed by The Coalition in partnership with Sumo Interactive and Disbelief, Reloaded brings the entire content suite from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, including all post-launch DLC, bonus campaign acts, and a complete roster of classic characters and unlockable cosmetics Players on Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, and now PS5 can expect zero loading screens in campaign, Dolby Atmos audio, and enhanced graphics with HDR and super resolution
The game will retail for $3.9, but Xbox owners with the digital Ultimate Edition get a free upgrade. It also launches day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
