Saints Game Today: Kirk Cousins Leads Falcons to Victory, Saints Struggle

The **New Orleans Saints** faced a tough loss against the **Atlanta Falcons** on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The final score was 24-10 in favor of the Falcons, a game that ended a five-game losing streak for Atlanta. This victory not only boosted the Falcons' morale but also highlighted the ongoing struggles of the Saints, who now stand at a dismal 2-9 record.

The Falcons' 24-10 win over the Saints was a significant turning point for the team, thanks to the stellar performance of quarterback **Kirk Cousins**. The 37-year-old veteran had a standout game, throwing for 199 yards and two touchdowns, which proved crucial in securing the victory. Cousins' two touchdown passes were pivotal, helping the Falcons snap their losing streak and claim a much-needed win.

One of the standout moments for the Falcons was when Cousins connected with tight end **Mooney** for a 49-yard touchdown pass. This play was a game-changer, giving the Falcons a comfortable 24-10 lead with 11:04 left in the game. The play showcased Cousins' precision and the Falcons' ability to capitalize on key opportunities, a stark contrast to the Saints' performance.

The Saints, on the other hand, struggled to find their footing. They failed to score an offensive touchdown, a significant setback that underscored their defensive and offensive inefficiencies. The loss at the Caesars Superdome was a hard pill to swallow for the home team, who were hoping to turn their season around.

The game was a pivotal moment for both teams, but especially for the Falcons, who were able to end their losing streak and showcase their potential under Cousins' leadership. The Saints, however, have a lot of work to do as they continue to grapple with a challenging season.
