LSU baseball continued its postseason surge with a dominant 12-0 shutout over Dallas Baptist on Saturday night at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field, advancing to the Baton Rouge Regional final. The Tigers, now 43-14 on the season, have showcased both power and pitching at the right time, outscoring opponents 19-0 in their first two regional games.
LSU will face the winner of Sunday afternoon’s Dallas Baptist vs. Little Rock matchup in the regional final, scheduled for p.m. CT. If the Tigers win, they’ll punch their ticket to the NCAA Super Regional, set for June 6-9. Should they lose, a decisive Game will be played on Monday.
With the offense firing and the pitching staff dealing, the Tigers are just one win away from extending their season and keeping their College World Series dreams alive.
