Tom Felton’s Broadway Return as Draco Malfoy—But There’s a Twist

Tom Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, is set to reprise his iconic role—this time on Broadway. Felton will star as an adult Draco in the stage production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" at New York’s Lyric Theatre, marking his Broadway debut and the first time an original film cast member joins the play.

The show’s storyline picks up years after the events of the original series, with Draco, Harry, Ron, and Hermione now parents sending their own children off to Hogwarts. Felton described the experience as “surreal,” sharing that returning to the character as an adult presents new challenges and emotions—especially when donning Draco’s signature platinum blond wig for the first time in over a decade.

Felton’s limited run begins November, 2025, and continues for weeks through March 22, 2026. Fans eager to see this unique reunion can register for early ticket access, with general sales set to open on June 12.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” remains the highest-grossing non-musical in Broadway history, and Felton’s return is expected to draw both longtime fans and a new generation to the magical world’s next chapter.
