The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated Game of the NBA Finals, defeating the Indiana Pacers 123-107 to tie the series at 1-1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for OKC with 34 points, while Alex Caruso added off the bench and Jalen Williams chipped in. The Thunder’s aggressive defense and fast start set the tone, holding the Pacers to under 40% shooting in the first half and never letting up.
Tyrese Haliburton, who hit the game-winner in Game, was limited to points as Indiana struggled to find offensive rhythm. Myles Turner and Pascal Siakam added and points, respectively, but no Pacers player reached points for the second straight Finals game.
Thunder coach Mark Daigneault praised his team’s focus and intensity, noting their ability to “keep the foot on the gas, especially defensively.” The Pacers, after their dramatic comeback in Game, never mounted a serious threat in Game and now look to regroup as the series shifts to Indianapolis for Game on Wednesday night.
