Fortnite’s highly anticipated live event, “Death Star Sabotage,” took place on Saturday, June, 2025, marking the explosive finale of Chapter Season 3’s Star Wars crossover. The event began promptly at PM ET / AM PT, with players able to queue up as early as PM ET to secure a spot in the action.
During the event, participants joined forces in parties of up to four, piloting X-wings or Imperial TIE fighters in a cinematic battle to take down the Death Star under Emperor Palpatine’s command. The experience was designed as an interactive, movie-like sequence, allowing players on all platforms—including mobile and cloud streaming—to take part.
