Alex Cooper, the influential host of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, has come forward with serious allegations against her former Boston University soccer coach, Nancy Feldman, in the newly released Hulu docuseries “Call Her Alex”.
In the documentary, Cooper details how her relationship with Feldman shifted during her sophomore year. She describes how Feldman’s attention moved from soccer performance to personal matters, with repeated questions about Cooper’s romantic life, comments about her body, and a persistent desire to be alone with her Cooper alleges that Feldman placed a hand on her thigh and pressured her to share details about her sex life, making her feel deeply uncomfortable.
Cooper says she initially stayed silent out of fear of losing her full-ride scholarship. When she and her parents reported the behavior to Boston University’s athletic department, Cooper claims the school “completely dismissed everything” she had endured Feldman, who coached at BU from 1995 until her retirement in 2022, has not responded publicly to the allegations.
The docuseries, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and is now streaming on Hulu, has ignited new conversations about athlete safety and institutional accountability in college sports.
