The UFC Vegas 123 event, which featured a lineup of exciting matches, was a testament to the unpredictable nature of MMA. The co-main event saw Randy Brown clash with Jacobe Smith in a welterweight bout, while Ode' Osbourne took on a flyweight opponent, adding to the spectacle of the night. Franklin Marshall, MMA analyst, noted, "Tom Nolan's performance against Moicano was nothing short of spectacular. He showcased a level of skill and determination that we rarely see from fighters his age. This win is just the beginning for him."

While Nolan's victory is a clear indication of his potential, it is essential to acknowledge the counter-argument that his success could be attributed to Moicano's underperformance. However, this does not diminish Nolan's achievement, as he still had to execute his game plan flawlessly to secure the win.
