The NFR, the world's largest rodeo event sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), is being held at the Thomas & Mack Center from December 4 to December 13, 2025.

One of the standout performers this year is Stetson Wright, who made a triumphant return to the competition after a year-long hiatus due to injury. Wright, a five-time all-around world champion, won his go-rounds in saddle bronc and bull riding on the first night of the NFR. His comeback is particularly notable as he leads the rough stock standings heading into the 2025 NFR. This return has not only energized the crowd but also intensified the competition, with Wright facing off against Wacey Schalla, a rookie contender who has been making waves in the rodeo world.

Round 1 of the 2025 NFR began with a bang, with Wright's performance being one of the highlights. He faced off against Big Shasta, a formidable bull known for its challenging rides. The first round also showcased the skills of other top rodeo athletes, making it a memorable event for spectators and participants alike.
