Seahawks Beat Chiefs 20-3 as Walker Held to 36 Yards, Mahomes Criticizes Offense
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3 at Lumen Field on October 25, ending the Chiefs' unbeaten run.
Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III was held to 36 yards on 14 carries, his lowest total since joining Kansas City.
Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori said his goal was to keep Walker under 100 yards, a target the defense achieved.
Seattle has now gone 36 consecutive games, including the playoffs, without allowing a 100‑yard rusher.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said after the game that the offense did not do enough to support Walker and that the team failed to execute around the midfield area.
Kansas City finished with 213 total yards and did not reach the red zone once, the first such occurrence in a Mahomes start.
Wide receiver Jaxon Smith‑Njigba recorded 150 receiving yards and a touchdown for Seattle.
The defending champion Seahawks improved to 4‑3 on the season.
